Killalea - flora and fauna

Visit Killalea and see sea eagles, snakes, lizards and echidnas. Flying foxes are also seen occasionally. Whales can be seen migrating between May and November each year.

Killalea also has threatened plant species, remnants of subtropical rainforest, littoral rainforest, regionally significant wetlands with important ecological values and a freshwater coastal lagoon (Killalea Lagoon), an important breeding habitat.
