Where are we?
Lake Keepit is a half-day’s drive from Sydney or Newcastle or half an hour from Tamworth. The Entrance to Lake Keepit State Park is just off the Oxley Highway (about 7kms). It is situated 38kms east of Gunnedah and 54kms west of Tamworth or 30kms south of Manilla by all weather bitumen road.

From Tamworth, follow the signs to Gunnedah and after 56kms along the Oxley Highway, turn right into Lake Keepit State Park.
