Where are we?

Manning Entrance State Park is located on the Mid North Coast of NSW, about a 31/2 drive north of Sydney and about 2 hours from Newcastle. The Park is generally north of the popular seaside village of Old Bar.

Directions

Take the Old Bar exit off the Pacific Highway at the Taree interchange and proceed east along Old Bar Road to Old Bar where the southern section of the Park is accessed. To access the northern end of the Park (Manning Point or Farquhar Park) turn left off Old Bar Road at the Manning Point Road intersection about 8 kilometres from Pacific Highway turnoff. Proceed north along Manning Point Road to the village of Manning Point where vehicular access to the beach is available through Neville Shoesmith Reserve. Farquhar Park is accessed by travelling south along the beach to the southern entrance of the Manning River.

Transport

There is no public transport to the Park, although private bus companies run services between Taree and Old Bar.
