Weather

The climate is best described as warm temperate to sub-tropical with a maritime influence. It is characterised by mild winters with day time temperatures averaging 19 C and warm summers with an average day time temperature of 26 C.

Mean annual rainfall is about 1200mm with peak falls occurring (on average) during the months of February to April with the driest months being July to November. Prevailing winds are from the northeast during summer and from the west and south west during autumn and winter.
